In the later part of 2004, the Management of L&O signed an agreement which made Hypress Africa the Official Distributor of Venair of Spain - a leading manufacturer of quality Silicon hose products for the automotive, industrial, food and medical industry which is currently distributed under the Hypress banner to the African market. Today, Hypress Africa (Pty) Ltd distributes the Venair product throughout South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Botswana as well as supplying manufacturers in the automotive industry whose finished product is exported to the U.S.A. Europe and The Middle East.

In October 2004 L&O Sales entered into an agreement with the Owners and Management of I.M.M. Hydraulics s.p.a. to manage I.M.M. Hydraulics’ new acquisition in South Africa - Hypress Africa (Pty) Ltd - the newest member of the Hypress International family.

Hypress is the commercial brand of I.M.M hydraulics s.p.a. of Italy who are a world class manufacturer offering a complete and integrated package of technology products related to the machinery, fluid line and hydraulics industry.

With continued investments in the latest cutting edge technology, I.M.M. manufactures high performance hydraulic hose, a complete range of hydraulic fittings, adaptors as well as test equipment to satisfy and guarantee complete customer satisfaction for any hydraulic requirement that needs to be met.
